July 3rd, Circumnavigate – Star Park (Bike Ride Around Coronado)
Circumnavigate is an unofficial, non-sponsored spontaneous event involving several hundred bike riders that traditionally occurs around 6:30pm on July 3. However, the Coronado Police Department attempts to provide a presence in order to assist the bike riders safely cross key intersections and provide for general safety. No alcohol is permitted during this event. Helmets required for those under 18. Watch a video from a past year.
Tuesday, July 4th, 2017
5:00AM – Wake up & get your spot along Orange Ave for the parade. You can’t set up before 5am – however, you should get there by 4:30am and wait across the street from ‘your spot’ if you want front row seating on the curb or grassy median! Tip, you can also take the ferry over from downtown San Diego to Coronado. The traffic is going to be heavy, so plan on walking or biking.
7:00AM - Annual Independence Day Crown City Classic 12K Run, 5K Run, Kids Fun Run
